Austin's original open-air farmers market, operating since 1987 with local produce, meats, cheeses, prepared foods, and artisan goods.

We are Austin's first farmers market, started in 1987, and have been ranked in the top 10 farmers markets in the country multiple times. We run every Saturday from 9am to 1pm, rain or shine (except Christmas Day). Over 90% of our vendors sell what they grow or produce themselves. Our farmers bring organically or sustainably grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and grass-fed and grass-finished beef, bison, wagyu, lamb, pork, goat, chicken, and fish. We also carry raw milk cheeses, goat cheese, low-temperature non-homogenized milk, pasture-raised eggs, freshly milled flour and cornmeal from Richardson Farms, and internationally inspired prepared foods made largely with our vendors' own ingredients. Local artisans round out the market, clothing, soaps, candles and live music is a regular feature each Saturday.
