Texas farm growing moringa, bee pollen, and seasonal produce since 1987
Comanche Oaks was founded in 1987 by Leon Caldwell on the banks of the Colorado River near La Grange, TX. In its early years, the farm was among the first certified organic operations in Texas. Today, the farm's core offerings are moringa oil, Magic Moringa cream, and bee pollen, alongside seasonal produce such as figs, arugula, cucumbers, and hibiscus. You can find Comanche Oaks at the Barton Creek Farmers Market on Saturdays and the Budaful Farmers Market in Buda on Sundays. Pre-orders with in-person market pickup are also available through the farm's online store.
Comanche Oaks was founded with organic farming at its core, and Leon Caldwell was among the first certified organic farmers in Texas when he began growing in 1987. The farm grows moringa (the source of both its oil and cream products) along with seasonal vegetables, fruits, and hibiscus. Bee pollen is offered as a natural dietary supplement. The farm highlights the broad nutritional profile of its moringa and bee pollen products, including antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
