Heritage pastured pork, poultry, and farm education in the Texas Hill Country.
Zanzenberg Farm is a family-owned and operated farm in the Texas Hill Country specializing in craft pork and raising heritage pigs on pasture. The farm raises heritage breeds including Gloucestershire Old Spots, Red Wattle, and Hereford pigs using holistic management and intensive pasture rotation. Its pigs are raised non-GMO, corn and soy-free, and finished on whey from a local cheesemaker. Poultry is also raised on pasture under the same non-GMO, corn and soy-free standards. Products are available through an on-farm store and at local farmers markets. Beyond meat production, the farm operates an on-farm commercial kitchen with teaching and demonstration space, offering hands-on classes in humane animal husbandry, butchery, charcuterie, and whole-animal utilization.
