Overview

Century-old family orchard growing certified organic stone fruit, citrus, and heirloom varieties in the Sierra foothills.

Twin Peaks Orchards is a family-owned certified organic orchard farming in Newcastle, California since 1912, now in its fifth generation of stewardship. Founded by Yoshichika and Tomeo Nakae, the farm passed through the Nakae family for three generations, then to Raul and Sheila Enriquez, and most recently to their daughter Camelia Enriquez and her husband Justin. The orchard grows hand-picked, tree-ripe stone fruits, including peaches, nectarines, pluots, plums, and apricots, with heirloom varieties such as Suncrest, O'Henry, Gene Elberta, and Gold Dust peaches. Fall and winter crops include persimmons (Fuyu, Hachiya, and specialty Amagaki), citrus such as Satsuma mandarins, Meyer lemons, Moro blood oranges, and unusual mandarinquats. Fruit is sold at an on-site farm stand and several certified farmers markets in the Sacramento region. Learn more on their About Page.
