A family-run, 2-acre farm and bakery growing vegetables, fruit, and sourdough breads by organic standards.
Father and Son Farm is a 2-acre family farm started in 2013 by Dave and Nick Bresnyan. The farm grows a variety of vegetables and fruit, and also produces a range of baked goods including sourdough loaves, focaccia, cinnamon rolls, muffins, scones, banana bread, and fruit, nut, and seed bars. Handmade bath soap is available as well. Products can be ordered for pickup at the farm store or at the farmers markets the farm attends. The farm was built out of a desire to grow food in abundance and share it with neighbors in the surrounding communities. Learn more on their About Page.
Father and Son Farm grows its vegetables and fruit according to organic standards, though it does not hold an organic certification. The farm makes its own mulch and compost on-site, and sources additional compost locally. All farm waste is recycled back into compost or fed to the chickens. Some crops are grown in high tunnels to extend the growing season. The soil on the property was not previously cultivated before the farm was established.
