The Local Butcher Shop sources pasture-raised meat with no antibiotics or added hormones from named local farm partners, buying whole animals. Beef comes from Stemple Creek Ranch, with certified organic pasture and Global Animal Partnership certification, and from Mariposa Ranch, which is grass-fed and grass-finished with no hormones, antibiotics, or feed grains. Pork comes from PT Ranch, which holds EOV certification and runs under a Carbon Farm Plan, and from Devil's Gulch Ranch, a diversified sustainable family farm. Chickens come from Fogline Farm, which raises organic-fed birds on coastal pasture in daily-moved mobile coops, and from Root Down Farm, which feeds organic, non-GMO grain with no hormones. Eggs come from Tomales Bay Pastures, whose hens are pasture-raised on a corn and soy free diet. The whole-animal model supports zero waste, using every part across butchered cuts, house-made products, rendered fats, and pet food.
