The Farm is an agricultural education center and working farm just outside of Salinas. It grows around thirty different crops, including strawberries, lettuces, corn, pumpkins, and tomatoes, and sells them through an on-site produce stand and a seasonal CSA subscription. The Farm's bakery has been baking pies for the public since 2009, producing fruit pies, savory pot pies, pie bars, cookies, and preserves. Organic cut flowers are available as bouquets, in bulk, by special order, and through scheduled u-picks. The farm store also includes a gift shop with seasonal items, kitchen wares, books, and toys. Farm tours and family activities are offered as well.
The Farm's demonstration farm holds CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) organic certification. The produce stand emphasizes organic produce, though it does not carry organic items exclusively. Bakery preserves are made using strawberries grown on the farm, along with locally-grown ollalieberries and other in-season fruit. The flowers grown and sold on-site are described as organic.
