Templeton Olive Oil is a family-run olive ranch operated by the Rohde Family, who have grown olives in Templeton since 2008. The farm produces cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil in Arbequina and Arbosana Spanish varieties, known for robust flavor and high polyphenol content. Alongside its olive oils, the business offers a beauty line of skin and hair care products made with olive oil, sold under the TOO Soft name. Templeton Olive Oil is pesticide-free and non-GMO. The farm is solar powered and uses eco-friendly, recyclable packaging materials made in the USA. After each harvest, olive pulp is spread back around the trees to return nutrients to the soil. The grove is watered at night using drip irrigation, applied only as needed to conserve water. Weeds are managed by hand and with the help of grazing donkeys, keeping the operation chemical-free. The family does most of the farm work themselves.
