Fifth-generation family farm with u-pick produce, a farm market, and guided honey, olive oil, and maple syrup tastings.
Jack Creek Farms is a fifth-generation (now sixth-generation) family farm operated by the Barlogio family, who have farmed in San Luis Obispo County since 1889. The farm offers u-pick opportunities across a wide range of crops including apples, peaches, plums, persimmons, olallieberries, blackberries, raspberries, heirloom tomatoes, sweet onions, pumpkins, and Christmas trees. A farm market on-site sells honey, olive oil, balsamic vinegars, maple syrup, and local artisan foods. Guided tastings of honey, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and infused maple syrups are available for a small fee. The farm also features Happy Acres, an outdoor family activity area with farm animals, imaginative play stations, and a garden maze. Jack Creek Farms was recognized by House Beautiful Magazine as the best pumpkin patch in California. Learn more on their About Page.
Jack Creek Farms states that it uses naturally grown farming methods and describes itself as committed to being good stewards of the land. The farm plants, tends, and harvests by hand. Produce is picked at peak ripeness. The honey tasting program features single-varietal raw honeys, including light, medium, and dark varieties as well as infused options.
