Mt. Olive Organic Farm is a certified organic family farm that has been growing food without chemicals or toxins since 1992. The farm produces olives, first cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, seasonal fruits, vegetables, sprouts, and farm-raised meat and eggs. Its olive oil has earned gold awards at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, recognized as one of the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contests. Visitors can shop at the on-farm store, enjoy sandwiches and olive tasting platters, and take free tours of the property. Mt. Olive Organic Farm holds certified organic status and farms without chemicals, toxins, antibiotics, or hormones. It practices diversified farming, using nitrogen-fixing plants and beneficial microbes to encourage symbiosis among crops. Soil health is supported through compost, earthworm castings, and earthworm tea, while companion planting helps plants thrive. Olive trees are grown on-site and olives are pressed at the farm's own olive press to produce extra virgin olive oil. Animals are raised outdoors, uncaged, on a diet of greens and forage. Sprouts are grown in a climate-controlled sprout house on the property.
