Four-acre flower farm and wedding florist offering a seasonal farm store and pick-your-own flowers.
Sterling Flower Farm LLC is a four-acre farm in eastern Connecticut growing cut flowers, vegetables, and greenhouse crops. Owner Zoe Madden took over the property in 2019, continuing a farming legacy that began on the same land in 1989. The farm grows ranunculus in early season, dahlias and zinnias mid to late season, and eucalyptus year-round from the greenhouse. A seasonal farm store sells flower bouquets, dried flower crafts, beeswax products, vegetables, and garden plants. Pick-your-own flower sessions are offered in summer and early fall. The farm also works as a wedding florist, creating fully custom arrangements sourced entirely from its own fields and delivering across eastern and central Connecticut and throughout Rhode Island. Dahlia tubers and flower and vegetable starts are also available for purchase. Learn more on their About Page.
Sterling Flower Farm LLC grows its flowers and vegetables using organic and regenerative growing methods on its four-acre property and in its on-site greenhouses. The farm tends its land with an explicit goal of providing food and healthy habitat for pollinators, including bees, birds, and butterflies. All wedding flower arrangements are made from blooms grown on the farm itself. The business is a first-generation, woman-owned operation.
