Family-run raw milk dairy farm offering grass-fed Jersey milk, pasture-raised meats, and free-range eggs
Baldwin Brook Farm is a diversified small farm in Canterbury, Connecticut, owned by the Newton family. Its core product is whole raw milk from grass-fed, pasture-raised Jersey cows, sold in glass or plastic half-gallon containers. The farm also raises Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs in its forests and fields, pasture-raised chickens, and grass-fed beef. Free-range laying flocks produce large brown eggs and eggs from heirloom breeds. Beyond its own products, the on-site farm store carries local dairy, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, and pantry staples from nearby producers. Raw milk is delivered to more than 50 retail stores, IGA markets, farm stands, and health food stores across Connecticut, and farm tours are available by appointment. Learn more on their About Page.
Baldwin Brook Farm milks grass-fed, pasture-raised Jersey cows and does not use hormones for milk production. The milk is whole and raw, contains no additives, and is not homogenized. The farm states it does not use synthetic chemicals or pesticides on its fields and practices rotational grazing. Milk is antibiotic-free and tested by a state inspector on a regular basis. The farm is actively incorporating A2 A2 genetics into its herd by breeding with A2 sires. Pork comes from Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs raised in the farm's forests and fields.
