Third-generation California farm raising Certified Organic, grass-fed beef, heritage pork, and pasture-raised chicken.
StarWalker Organic Farms is a third-generation family farm in California, where Kristina and Jason Walker, along with their children, steward thousands of acres using regenerative practices first established by the family in 1970. The farm raises grass-fed beef, heritage-breed pork, and pasture-raised chicken, and also offers beef jerky, meat sticks, and curated meat boxes. StarWalker Organic Farms holds both USDA Organic certification and Regenerative Organic Certified status, and identifies itself as the first Regenerative Organic Certified beef and pork producer in America. The farm operates on a direct-to-consumer model, packing and shipping frozen cuts from its own facility. Learn more on their About Page.
StarWalker Organic Farms practices rotational grazing, moving cattle to fresh pasture to build soil and increase biodiversity. The farm plants diverse cover crops to feed soil microbes, prevent erosion, and support beneficial insects, keeping no bare soil. Carbon sequestering methods are used to keep carbon in the ground and improve water infiltration. The farm also maintains wildlife corridors, pollinator habitat, and wetlands alongside meat production. Cattle spend 365 days on pasture with no feedlots, no grain, and no confinement. Heritage-breed pigs root, wallow, and forage outdoors. The farm uses zero pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, or added hormones, and holds USDA Organic and Regenerative Organic Certified credentials.
