Hatmaker Homestead is a family-run farm in Bourbon County, Kentucky, operated by Drew and Holli Hatmaker, who grew up raising and showing cattle and sheep. The farm raises pastured chickens and turkeys, keeps laying hens, grows seasonal vegetables and fruit, and cultivates fresh-cut flowers. Products are available through an on-farm store and a weekly CSA program. The CSA offers vegetable shares in multiple sizes, a protein share featuring chicken, beef, pork, and lamb, and a flower share, with pickup locations across the region and home delivery. Every stage of the operation, from seeding and growing to harvest and sales, is carried out by the family. Learn more on their About Page.
Hatmaker Homestead raises its chickens and turkeys on pasture. The farm is a member of the American Pastured Poultry Producers Association (APPPA). The CSA's meat offerings are produced locally in Bourbon and Fleming Counties, with beef sourced through Stone Gate Angus Beef and pork and lamb through Schwartz Meat Company.
