Family farm selling grass-fed beef, pasture-raised poultry, Kentucky Proud pork, fresh eggs, and a seasonal on-farm market.
Pope Family Farms is a family-owned and -operated farm in Bourbon County, Kentucky, founded by Tim and Christy Pope after graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1992. The farm runs a 400-head commercial cow-calf operation across roughly two thousand acres. It sells grass-fed beef, Kentucky Proud pork, free-range chicken, fresh eggs, and seasonal produce. An on-farm market also carries baked goods (including cinnamon rolls and breads), canned items, cheeses, KY Proud Milk, jams, jellies, honey, maple syrup, and more. The farm operates a YouTube channel documenting farm life, meat-chicken and laying-hen raising, row-crop production, and home food preservation.
All meat products are described by the farm as ASH-free, meaning raised without antibiotics, steroids, or hormones, and born and raised on the family's Bourbon County farms. The beef herd is grass-fed, and cows are bred naturally to registered bulls selected for muscle growth. Free-range poultry is grass-fed and supplemented with non-GMO scratch feed. All meat is processed at USDA-inspected facilities in Kentucky; each cut is vacuum-sealed and stamped with a USDA-certified weight.
