Forza Meats is a full-service butcher shop paired with an Italian market, deli, and in-house kitchen. The butcher case features pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, alongside wet-aged and dry-aged steakhouse cuts and tenderloin filets cut to order. Burgers and sausages are ground and made in-house; the sausage program has produced over 100 varieties since the shop opened in 2018. The deli counter offers more than 25 signature sandwiches, including hot subs, cold subs, and pressed panini, with imported and domestic meats and cheeses sliced to order. The kitchen turns out take-and-bake entrees, pizzas, and nightly carryout dinner specials with an Italian focus. Catering is available for events of virtually any size, with menus built around Italian recipes or customized to order.
Forza Meats sources meats as locally as possible, primarily from family farms in Illinois. Beef is all-natural, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free, sourced primarily from Illinois farms, with both wet-aged and dry-aged options available. The pork program centers on whole heritage Berkshire hogs sourced from Slagel Family Farm in Fairbury, IL, broken down in-house from snout to tail. Additional pork cuts come from Seaboard Farms' Prairie Fresh program, featuring hormone- and antibiotic-free hogs raised in the Midwest. Poultry comes from Harrison's Poultry in Glenview and from Slagel Family Farm, which also supplies fresh turkeys and can accommodate special poultry orders on weekly farm deliveries. Lamb is sourced from Slagel Family Farm as well. Deli salads are prepped in-house, and house-made soups are offered seasonally.
