Overview

Third-generation family farm selling pasture-raised poultry, grass-fed beef, cage-free eggs, and home-style prepared foods from a farm store.

Diemand Farm is a third-generation family farm founded in 1936, when Al Diemand purchased land in Wendell, Massachusetts and began farming. Today the farm is owned by Anne, Peter, Faith, and Tessa (Al and Elsie's granddaughter), along with other family members. The farm raises and processes its own poultry, including all-natural chicken and pasture-raised turkeys, along with grass-fed beef and cage-free eggs. A farm store opened as a full-time staffed operation in 2002 and now also carries home-style prepared foods such as pot pies, soups, and desserts, made with locally sourced ingredients where possible. CSA programs (Chicken CSA and Soup CSA), catering, compost, started pullets, and custom-cut lumber round out the farm's offerings.
