Free-range beef, honey, beeswax, and beekeeping supplies from a family farm.
Cowichan Valley Farms is a family-run operation owned by Jim and Pat Peach, raising free-range, pasture-raised beef and keeping honey bees. The farm sells beef by the quarter, half, or whole cow, with cuts individually wrapped and frozen. Honey is available year-round in seven flavours at the farm store, alongside beeswax products, gift items, and beekeeping supplies. Beef must be pre-ordered using the farm's order form, after which Jim follows up directly to arrange delivery or pickup. The farm processes its beef at a provincial Class A facility in the Cowichan Valley. Learn more on their About Page.
Cowichan Valley Farms describes itself as a free-range and pesticide-free farm. Its pasture-raised beef is raised without antibiotics or growth hormones, and animals are given regular outdoor access alongside other farm animals. The farm states its mission as providing Vancouver Island with a sustainable, local food source as an alternative to commercialized and industrialized food.
