K & M Farms

K & M Farms is a small poultry farm in Abbotsford, BC, run by farmers Mark and Jill. The farm raises chickens and turkeys with access to the outdoors, where the birds peck, scratch, forage, and dust bathe. Chickens are grown in small flocks and raised longer, closer to maturity, which the farm says produces a distinct taste and texture. After processing at a federally inspected plant, all fresh cut-ups and packaging are handled in the on-farm store. Fresh chicken is available six times a year, fresh turkeys once a year, and frozen chicken and turkey are available year-round. Orders are placed directly with the farm, and frozen product pick-up is by appointment Wednesday through Sunday.
