Cedar Valley Farms is a third-generation family farm in Hodgenville, Kentucky, run by Jud and Abby Lee. The farm's roots go back to Jud's grandfather, Billy Lee, who raised row crops and cattle, and continued through his parents, Scotty and Robin Lee, who built a garden center and greenhouse operation. Jud returned to the farm after graduating from Western Kentucky University in 2015 and established Cedar Valley Farms to connect the family's land directly to consumers. The farm raises grass-fed beef, pastured pork, pastured eggs, and produce, all sold through an online farm store with weekly home delivery. Cedar Valley Farms is a Kentucky Proud member. Cedar Valley Farms raises its beef on a 100% grass-fed and grass-finished program. Pork comes from heritage pigs raised on pasture and oak woodlands. Eggs are produced by hens kept on pasture. The farm raises animals with no added hormones and no antibiotics. The guiding motto of the operation is to leave the land better than when it was received.
