Firefly Fields Farm is a grass-fed beef operation run by Chris and Monica Moyer in south-central Kentucky. The farm raises its cattle on pasture from birth through processing, offering buyers full traceability of their beef. Customers can order pre-portioned bulk beef boxes in a range of sizes, from a 12-pound ground beef box up to an 80-pound quarter-cow bundle, with options including steaks, roasts, ground beef, organ meats, and soup bones. The farm also sells live cattle and offers custom processing. Orders are available for farm pickup, local drop points, or direct delivery across a wide band of central Kentucky. Firefly Fields Farm raises its cattle exclusively on pasture from birth to butcher and does not grain-feed its animals at any stage. The cattle are described as low-input, foundation-bred genetics conditioned on forage only. The farm does not knowingly use any genetically modified seed, hay, or other inputs, and does not include animals with bioengineered genes in its breeding program. Pastures are grown without harmful chemicals or fertilizers, according to the farm.
