Brady's Idaho Beef is a family farm operated by John and Karen Brady in a small mountain valley in the southeastern corner of Idaho. The farm has been in the Brady family for four generations, producing everything from sugar beets and sheep to a small dairy operation before focusing on grass-fed beef. John Brady holds a Master's degree in agricultural economics and has worked with cattle and pastures his entire life. The farm offers individual beef cuts spanning steaks, roasts, ground beef, and offal, along with bulk purchasing options for half or whole beef, a monthly subscription, grass-fed beef jerky, and pastured pork. Brady's Idaho Beef raises its cattle on pasture in open spaces, allowing animals to grow and mature naturally without added hormones or antibiotics. The beef is grass-fed and grass-finished. Processing is done locally. The farm also raises pastured pork. Brady's describes the flavor of its beef as reflecting the climate, soils, and plant life unique to the Marsh Valley area of southeastern Idaho.
