Bohman Bee Company

Bohman Bee Company is a family apiary rooted in four generations of beekeeping, tracing back to Harry Bohman, who kept bees during World War II as a substitute for rationed sugar. After a gap of nearly 25 years, brothers Joe and John Bohman revived the operation in 2010 and 2011 respectively, and formally established Bohman Bee Company in 2012. The business now manages over 200 hives throughout southern Indiana. Its product line includes raw honey sourced from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan; specialty varieties such as Bourbon Barrel Aged, Hot Honey, Coffee Honey, Salted Honey, and Blackberry Honey; and beeswax products.
