Roach Family Farm raises pasture-raised chicken, turkey, pork, goat, and grass-fed/grass-finished beef, along with pasture-raised eggs and seasonal produce. The farm has called its Switzerland County land home since 2014, and all livestock are born and raised on the property. Products are sold at farmers markets, through pre-order for farm pickup, and via local delivery. All farm products carry the Homegrown by Heroes and Indiana Grown certifications. All animals at Roach Family Farm are raised without hormones, steroids, antibiotics, de-wormers, or vaccines. Chickens, turkeys, and laying hens are pasture-raised and supplemented with non-GMO grain. Hogs are raised on rotated pastures with room to roam and root, and are fed non-GMO grain. Beef cattle are grass-fed and grass-finished, pasture-raised, and raised using organic practices, with no hormones, antibiotics, steroids, or vaccines. Goats browse and graze on acreage and are born on the farm. All poultry is processed at Indiana State inspected facilities; pork, beef, and goat are processed at USDA or Indiana State inspected facilities.
