Third-generation butcher shop raising, slaughtering, and processing beef, pork, lamb, and more on-site in Wolfforth, TX.
All Hale Meats is a family-owned butcher shop and meat market with roots tracing back to the original Hale's Meat Market, opened in 1949. Owner Terry Hale is a third-generation butcher, following in the footsteps of his father Dewain Hale and grandfather Leon Hale, both of whom ran meat markets in the Lubbock area. Terry and his wife Tracy operate the business together. All Hale Meats raises, slaughters, and processes all the meat it sells on-site, offering beef in halves, wholes, or quarters, along with pork, lamb, and a full range of sausages. The shop sells grass-fed and grain-fed beef, raises Wagyu, Angus, and cross cattle, and handles everything nose to tail. Teachers, first responders, and veterans receive a 10% discount.
All Hale Meats operates a state-inspected facility, with a state inspector on-site during the processing of all beef, hog, goat, and lamb. The business claims to be the only certified organic meat processor in Texas. Beef is aged approximately 14 to 21 days on the rail; hogs are aged 1 to 4 days. All product is double-wrapped and placed in a freezer for at least 24 hours before boxing to ensure a hard freeze. The shop holds exotic meat licenses, allowing it to accept non-wild game such as bison and elk for custom processing. Animals are humanely slaughtered in the business's own on-site slaughterhouse.
