Grass-fed beef, lamb, pastured pork, chicken, turkey, and eggs from a family farm in Lower Onslow.
Wild Pasture Farm is run by Susan Hamilton and Fabian Hamilton, who have been farming in Lower Onslow, Nova Scotia since 2014. The farm raises grass-fed beef and lamb, free-run pork, pasture-raised chicken and turkey, and pasture-raised eggs. Products are available year-round at the Truro Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings, and directly from the farm on Fridays. A monthly drop-off in Dartmouth is also offered. The farm operates with a focus on allowing animals to express their natural behaviours and enjoy a full life outdoors.
Wild Pasture Farm raises its animals on pasture, with beef and lamb finished on grass. Pork is raised free-run, and chickens and turkeys are pasture-raised. The farm operates on the Hamilton family's existing dairy and sheep property, and purchases weaned piglets and meat chicks from family farms in the Annapolis Valley.
