Ward's Berry Farm

Ward's Berry Farm is a family farm run by brothers Jim and Bob Ward since 1982, spanning 175 acres of vegetables and small fruit. Known for pick-your-own crops through the seasons, including tulips, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, flowers, and pumpkins, it also offers public hayrides to the fields. The year-round farm store sells produce, a deli and sandwich counter, a smoothie bar with soft-serve ice cream, artisan breads, gourmet cheeses, jams, and prepared foods. Baked goods like cookies, muffins, breads, and pies use family recipes from the Wards' mother, Ann. Spring and summer greenhouses stock bedding plants, hanging baskets, and perennials. The farm also hosts birthday parties and school tours by reservation, plus children's play areas, a fall corn maze, fresh native turkeys for Thanksgiving, and seasonal Christmas greens.
