Pasture-raised and grass-fed meat, eggs, and farm goods from a family-run livestock farm.
Walpole Valley Farms is a pasture-based livestock operation run by Chris and Caitlin Caserta, who have been farming in southern New Hampshire since 2006. The farm raises 100% grass-fed beef, pasture-raised chicken, pork, turkey, and eggs, and also offers NH maple syrup, honey, jams, and handmade gifts. Products are available through an online farm store as well as curbside farm-store pickup. The farm is recognized as an NH Farm of Distinction. In 2017, the Casertas opened The Hungry Diner, a farm-to-table restaurant in Walpole where all meat and eggs come from the farm. They also continued the family ownership of The Inn at Valley Farms in 2019, offering a fuller farm experience for visitors. Learn more on their About Page.
Walpole Valley Farms uses regenerative and holistic management practices with the stated goal of building soil health rather than depleting it. Beef cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished on grass, hay, and minerals, and are raised with no hormones, antibiotics, or grain. Pigs are woodland and pasture-raised, foraging for natural food sources, and are fed certified GMO-free grain with no hormones or antibiotics. Chickens are moved to fresh paddocks on a rotating basis, have continual access to forage, bugs, and grasses, and are fed certified GMO-free grain with no hormones or antibiotics. Turkeys follow the same antibiotic-free, hormone-free, certified GMO-free grain protocol and are given free access to their natural diet. Pasture-raised eggs are produced using hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and GMO-free grains.
