Brookfield Farm is a certified organic, grass-based family farm in Walpole, New Hampshire, founded and operated by Holly and Christian Gowdy since 1995. The farm manages approximately 300 acres of farmland, producing 100% grass-fed ground beef and lamb, along with certified organic hay and forage. Organic Valley has recognized Brookfield Farm for Gold Quality Milk. Products are available directly at the farm as well as at the Farmers Market of Keene, Pete's Stand in Walpole, Sunnymeadow Farms in Alstead Center, and the Monadnock Food Co-op. Brookfield Farm holds certified organic status and has produced certified organic hay and forage since 2003. The farm uses no pesticides, herbicides, synthetic hormones, antibiotics, or GMOs. All beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed, and the farm makes all of its own hay and forage for its cattle herd on the approximately 300 acres it manages.
