Four-generation Texas apiary producing raw honey, whipped honey, comb honey, and mead since 1930.
Walker Honey Farm is a fourth-generation apiary in Central Texas, tracing its roots to 1930 when G.C. Clint Walker Sr. started with 150 beehives during the Great Depression. The farm produces a range of pure raw honeys, including American Wildflower, Mesquite, Orange Blossom, Texas Tallow Tree, and Midwestern Clover varieties. Beyond raw honey, it offers whipped honey, infused honey, premium comb honey, bee pollen, beeswax soaps, beeswax candles, and Texas San Saba pecans. Craft meads and wines are produced under a companion winery. Bees are also available for sale, and the farm offers beehive placements for agricultural valuation purposes. Visitors can shop at the on-site store, which includes a wine bar. Learn more on their About Page.
Walker Honey Farm describes its approach as "Bee-to-Bottle": honey is harvested, extracted, and packed without interfering with what it calls "Nature's goodness." The farm offers guided Bee-to-Bottle tours that walk visitors through the full harvest and extraction process. Specialty food products, from honey pralines to homemade peanut butter and honey, are made using the farm's own honey as the base ingredient. The farm also sells raw beeswax and beeswax-based products, keeping byproducts of the hive in use across its product line.
