Twisted River Farm is a five-acre market farm run by Steve and Marcy Strasheim and their daughter Avery. The farm started in 2014 as a specialty operation focused on salad greens and microgreens, and has since grown into a diverse seasonal vegetable operation. Everything sold is grown on the farm and harvested at peak ripeness. Produce, herbs, microgreens, and cut flowers reach customers through three channels: a weekly farm box subscription, an on-site farm store open seasonally, and a stand at the Mason City Farmers Market. All produce is grown on-site and harvested at the peak of ripeness rather than shipped in from outside sources.
