Triple J Farm is a 370-acre, fourth-generation family operation in Scott County, Kentucky, run by Stewart and Donzetta Hughes and their children and grandchildren. The farm began diversifying in 2008, adding small fruits and vegetables, farm-direct beef, farm-fresh eggs, and value-added products from its Farmhouse Kitchen alongside grain crops and cattle feed. Products are sold through an on-farm retail market, a customizable weekly CSA program, and farmers market stands. The CSA runs for 16 weeks per season, offering full and half shares as well as egg add-ons, with pickup and delivery options across Georgetown, Lexington, and surrounding areas. Triple J Farm raises Angus-cross cattle on pasture and finishes them on forage grain, using row crops the farm itself grows: hay, corn, wheat, and silage. The beef is described as ASH free, meaning no growth hormones, no steroids, no antibiotics, and no additives are used. All beef is USDA inspected and dry-aged for 14 to 21 days before being cut, vacuum sealed, and frozen. Beef is available in retail cuts, individual cuts, or bulk packages (whole, half, or quarter). The farm also raises grain crops (corn, wheat, and soybeans) and produces farm-fresh eggs alongside its produce operation.
