Three Twelve Beef is a family-run cattle farm in Slaughter, Louisiana that raises grass-fed, grass-finished beef and sells it in small quantities, so customers have no need to purchase a whole or half animal. The farm is a certified Louisiana farm-to-table producer. Its lineup includes ground beef, roasts, New York strip and ribeye steaks, stew meat, brisket, oxtail, organ meats, and grass-fed bones for broth. A Beef Family Pack is its most popular offering, bundling ground beef, slow-cooker cuts, and a seasonal item. Orders are available for pickup or local delivery on Fridays. Three Twelve Beef raises its cattle on pasture and finishes them entirely on grass, with no growth hormones given at any point. The farm moves cattle to fresh grass on a regular rotation and keeps free-choice minerals available for the herd. The operation values soil health and sustainable agriculture, and leases farmland with the intent of caring for the land it works. Most cattle are mixed breeds; the farm uses a Red Devon bull and keeps several Red Devon cows, with a focus on genetics suited to producing high-quality grass-fed beef.
