Bed and breakfast on a 27-acre working farm, serving made-from-scratch organic breakfasts in a historic 1837 farmhouse.
The Stovall House is a bed and breakfast and event venue set on a 27-acre property and working farm, originally built in 1837 as a classic southern farmhouse. The property offers five guest rooms across its historic Eclectic Victorian structure, each stay including a made-from-scratch breakfast. Innkeepers Jeff and Erin Sidwell reopened the property in 2019 after purchasing it in 2018, bringing backgrounds in construction and food sustainability respectively. The house also serves as a venue for weddings and private events, with a scenic wrap-around porch suited for outdoor gatherings. Learn more on their About Page.
Breakfasts at The Stovall House are described as 80-100% organic and 60-80% locally sourced, made from scratch. The inn partners with Yonah Mountain Farms, and breakfasts may include pasture-raised eggs and pork from that farm. Co-innkeeper Erin has a background affiliated with Georgia Organics and White Oak Pastures and has described her approach as rooted in the Good Food Movement.
