Fourth-generation lavender farm and horse farm offering raw honey, farm fresh eggs, and seasonal farm events.
The Farm at SummitWynds is a fourth-generation farm in operation for over 60 years, with roots on the property tracing back to the 1860s. The farm grows 20 varieties of lavender across 4,000 plants, used for culinary, beverage, craft, and beauty applications. It also produces raw honey and farm fresh eggs from Lavender Orpington chickens. The property features a historic fieldstone building originally constructed as a ski lodge in 1945, now used as an event venue. The farm has raised champion show horses since 1964, beginning with Appaloosas and transitioning to Quarter Horses in the 1980s. It hosts a range of seasonal events including a Lavender Farm Fest, farm-to-table lavender dinners, a Butterfly Experience, and farm weddings. Learn more on their About Page.
The Farm at SummitWynds cultivates 4,000 lavender plants across 20 varieties, harvested for culinary, beverage, craft, and beauty uses. The farm maintains beehives that pollinate the lavender and produce raw honey. To support pollinators, the farm plants multiple flower varieties including lavender, zinnias, sunflowers, and wildflowers throughout a dedicated Pollinator Paradise. The Farm at SummitWynds is a member of the U.S. Lavender Growers Association.
