Idaho ranch selling grass-fed beef, antler carvings, and live-edge wood goods from Lucile.
The Back 4D Ranch is a family-run operation in Lucile, Idaho, situated at the end of a private road above the Salmon River. The ranch produces 100% grass and herb-fed beef, sold in ground-beef bundles as live animal shares available for pickup or delivery. Its site metadata also references walnut-finished pork and grass-fed lamb among its farm products. Beyond meat, the ranch offers hand-carved antler art by Raini Allen, custom live-edge wood shelves milled from black walnut and wild apricot trees grown on the property, and a line of herbal salves. A furnished barn cabin on the property is available for short-term stays.
The Back 4D Ranch raises its beef cattle on rotated pastures stocked with a variety of grasses and wild herbs. Cattle are not fed grain and are supplemented with sea salt and kelp. The ranch does not use pesticides or herbicides on its pastures. For animal care, herbs are used in place of drugs, vaccines, antibiotics, and chemical wormers on its finished animals.
