Weiser River Ranch is a working farm in Council, Idaho, run by David and Jamie, who raise cattle and sheep for grass-fed, grass-finished beef and lamb. The ranch also grows herbicide- and pesticide-free raspberries and produces raspberry jam. Cuts available include steaks, roasts, ribs, ground beef, Wagyu ground beef, and a full range of lamb cuts, sold through the ranch's online shop and at seasonal farmers markets in McCall and Donnelly. Weiser River Ranch raises its cattle and sheep on grass and river water, finishing them entirely on grass with no grain. During winter months, animals are supplemented with organic alfalfa. The ranch describes its production as free range and GMO-free, and its animals are raised humanely. Raspberries are grown without herbicides or pesticides. All meat sold is USDA certified.
