Tanglewood Acres is a small family farm operating under the motto "Food Raised Simply." It specializes in pastured pork, organically fed eggs, and seasonal maple syrup. The farm offers eggs and pork available for pickup and delivery. Maple syrup is produced seasonally by collecting sap from trees on the property and boiling it down in an on-site sugar shack over a wood stove, giving it a smoky flavor. Tanglewood Acres raises its pigs in the woods, where they can forage for nuts, roots, and other natural foods. The herd is rotated to fresh ground weekly and supplemented with a Non-GMO feed sourced locally. Laying hens spend their days on pasture foraging for bugs and are supplemented with an organic feed; they are returned to their coop each night for protection. The farm's stated goal is to mimic nature and work in harmony with the environment.
