Spreadwing Farm produces grass-finished beef, pastured broiler chickens, and seasonal organic fruits and vegetables. Beef shares are available as halves, quarters, or eighths, priced by hanging weight. The farm's pastured chickens are a slower red broiler breed raised on organic feed and fresh pasture. Seasonal produce is available by the case at wholesale prices, with delivery options to local farmers markets and surrounding areas. Spreadwing Farm uses rotational grazing of cattle, chickens, and goats through its gardens and orchards, combined with compost and mineral amendments, to support active soil ecosystems and soil mineral balance. Beef cattle are kept on irrigated pasture and rotated daily for optimal gain and animal health. The cattle are offered a free-choice salt and mineral buffet that includes kelp. Animals are slaughtered on-site to avoid the stress of transport. Pastured broiler chickens are moved daily to fresh grass and are fed only organic feed, supplemented with kelp and minerals. Chicks are introduced to chopped grass while still in the brooder to encourage early grazing habits.
