Sonoma Wine Shop & La Bodega has operated in Sonoma County for 40 years, combining a gourmet vegetarian and plant-based restaurant (La Bodega) with a wine shop and wine club. The restaurant is open five days a week by reservation, offering indoor and al fresco dining, and its menu is 100% gourmet vegetarian and 100% gourmet plant-based. Pasta is a specialty, made in-house with organic eggs and organic flour. Owner Bryan Cooper brings decades of winery and winemaker connections to the wine club, which counts over 4,500 members and sources small-production wines from Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties that are generally not available outside Wine Country. The shop also carries a local cheese selection and hosts events.
La Bodega's kitchen uses house-made pasta prepared with organic eggs and organic flour. The restaurant works with local vendors and farms, including produce from The Patch (organic white corn) and Tookee Farm. Menu dishes incorporate locally sourced ingredients such as Fiscalini cheese and Ortiz Poblano chili. The wine club focuses on small, boutique producers from Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties, with selections personally sourced by owner Bryan Cooper. The shop also carries its own exclusive Harvest View wine label.
