Certified Organic farm in Sonoma County growing vegetables, flowers, and chili-based products including hot sauces, chili powders, and dried chilies.
Longer Table Farm is a 10-acre Certified Organic farm in Sonoma County founded in 2014 under the name Blue Leg Farms. It grows vegetables and cut flowers sold at farmer's markets, grocery stores, and restaurants throughout the greater Bay Area. The farm also produces a line of chili-based products: hot sauces, chili powders, and dried chilies. Its hot sauces are made from farm-grown chili peppers fermented with sea salt and water. The farm is not open to the public, but its products are available online and at select markets. Learn more on their About Page.
Longer Table Farm holds Certified Organic status and describes its farming practices as exceeding organic requirements. The farm emphasizes soil health as the foundation of quality produce and implements crop rotation, cover cropping, and cultivation of a wide range of biodiverse crops. It evaluates financial, personal, and environmental sustainability as ongoing priorities, and structures its operations to keep products accessible at a range of price points.
