Small State Provisions

Small State Provisions is an organic bakery and cafe founded in 2019 by Kevin Masse, who started the business as a home bakery before opening retail locations in Avon and West Hartford, CT. The Avon location houses a 2,200-square-foot bakery and cafe. The business is built around naturally leavened sourdough bread, seasonal pastries, and prepared foods, with a wholesale program supplying restaurants in the greater Hartford area. Masse, whose background spans a decade in marketing and brand strategy, draws on family baking traditions and time-honored methods.
