Small State Provisions

Small State Provisions is an organic bakery and cafe founded in 2019 by baker Kevin Masse, who began with one of West Hartford's first cottage food licenses before growing into a multi-location operation. The bakery's signature product is organic sourdough bread, built on a live active starter and a process that takes over 24 hours per loaf. Alongside its bread program, Small State Provisions offers croissants, scones, cinnamon rolls, and other seasonal pastries, as well as a prepared foods menu of sandwiches, toasts, baked oatmeal, and granola. Coffee and espresso are served in partnership with Alvarium Roasting of New Britain, CT. The bakery also runs a wholesale program supplying local restaurants and cafes. Learn more on their About Page.
