Sherman Farms

Sherman Farm raises Angus and Angus-cross beef on the farm itself. The cattle graze on pasture from spring through fall and are fed farm-grown baled hay and non-GMO corn silage in winter, with no antibiotics or hormones. The farm also supplements the herd's diet with spent brewer's grain from two local breweries as part of a shared sustainability practice. Beef is dry-aged for a minimum of 14 days at a USDA-inspected facility and vacuum-sealed to preserve flavor. Pork is sourced from New England family farms through the farm's butcher shop. Poultry comes from Misty Knoll Farms in Vermont, where birds are raised on whole grain free of antibiotics and animal by-products and processed on-site at a USDA-inspected facility. The farm's milk is produced and processed in small batches by Hatchland Farm in North Haverhill, NH, from cows raised without growth hormones or antibiotics, and is sold in reusable glass bottles.
