Russell Orchards

Russell Orchards is a family-owned and operated 120-acre fruit farm in Ipswich, MA, with roots as a working farm going back to 1920. Max and Meredith Russell purchased the property in 1979, and their son Doug and his wife Miranda took ownership in 2008 as the second generation of Russells to farm the land. The farm grows dozens of fruit varieties, including apples, peaches, pears, plums, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, and more, with seasonal pick-your-own available. A scratch bakery in the historic 1800s barn produces goods, including the signature apple cider donuts developed from Meredith Russell's original recipe. The on-site farm winery, established in 1988, produces more than 30 varieties of fruit wines and hard ciders. A farm store, barnyard with animals, and school tour program round out the offerings.
