Rocking Chair Ranch Cattle

Rocking Chair Ranch cattle are raised on pasture across approximately 300 acres and rotated to maintain fresh grazing. They are fed only grass and forage after weaning, grazing on bermuda grass in summer and a mix of fescue and white dutch clover in winter, and are never confined to feedlots. The cattle are raised without antibiotics, steroids, or hormones, and the beef is USDA inspected. The farm holds Certified Animal Welfare Approved certification through A Greener World, including its processing facility. Its cross-breeding program selects for traits including heat and drought tolerance, disposition, longevity, and meat quality.
