Veteran-owned, Certified Naturally Grown farm raising pasture-raised chicken, eggs, and pet treats on six-generation farmland.
Wannabe Farms is a veteran-owned, family-run regenerative farm operating on six-generation farmland in Barnesville, Georgia. The farm was built by a husband and wife who returned to the land during a period of transition and found a calling in raising clean, honest food for their family of seven. Wannabe Farms offers pasture-raised chicken (including whole birds, individual cuts, ground chicken, sausage, and bone broth), pastured eggs, and single-ingredient dehydrated pet treats made from the same birds raised on the farm. The farm also serves as a dealer for New Country Organics, offering a full line of certified organic, soy-free livestock and poultry feed and supplements. Learn more on their About Page.
Wannabe Farms is Certified Naturally Grown and operates as a regenerative farm guided by rotational grazing principles. All birds are raised on open pasture and moved regularly onto fresh ground, allowing grazed areas to rest and recover between rotations. Chickens and laying hens are fed a certified organic diet that is corn-free, soy-free, and seed oil-free. The farm describes this rotational system as working with the land rather than against it: as birds move across the farm, they scratch, forage, and return nutrients to the soil. Pet treats are dehydrated with no fillers or additives, produced from the same pasture-raised birds the farm raises for its own table.
