Ozark Pasture Beef is a partnership of farms committed to raising grass-fed, grass-finished beef and lamb alongside pasture-raised, non-GMO-fed pork, chicken, and eggs. All livestock are born and raised on the farms from birth to harvest, with no grain, antibiotics, or added growth hormones. The partnership allows participating farmers to share in all aspects of production and selling. Each retail package comes from a single animal and is traceable to the specific farm and farmer that produced it. Cattle and sheep spend their entire lives grazing on pasture and are never bought as calves that may have received grain. The Ozarks climate allows the farms to graze both cool-season and warm-season grasses and pasture plants virtually year-round, and pastures are intensively managed for both quantity and quality. No antibiotics, added growth hormones, or grain or grain by-products are used. Pork and chicken are pasture-raised and fed non-GMO feed. The farms also focus on long-term land stewardship, with soil and pasture improvement described as central to producing healthy livestock and healthy meat.
