Family farm raising pasture-raised chicken, eggs, and beef on grass outside West Fork, Arkansas.
Clemtuck Farm is a small, family-run farm situated on the hillsides outside West Fork, Arkansas. It raises broiler chickens, laying hens, and grass-fed beef for customers across Northwest Arkansas. The farm sells meats and eggs with a focus on non-GMO, organic-feed practices and humane animal care. Animals are raised in small batches and moved regularly onto fresh pasture. Clemtuck Farm uses USDA-inspected and Animal Welfare Approved processors and offers delivery of its meats and eggs. Farm visits are welcome. Learn more on their About Page.
Clemtuck Farm feeds all its chickens certified organic grains, which it states are free of pesticide and herbicide residues. Broilers live in moveable 120-square-foot shelters that are relocated daily onto fresh pasture; a given patch of grass is used no more than once a year for broilers. Laying hens are moved to fresh pasture every one to two weeks using a portable hen-house and solar-powered electric mesh fencing, and are opened onto the surrounding pasture each day to forage for insects and grasses. Cattle graze exclusively on grass, never grain, and are moved to fresh pasture daily, with pastures given ample recovery time between grazings. The farm does not use herbicides or pesticides, manages grazing intensity to protect soil and grass health, and uses low-stress animal handling methods. It is a member of the American Pastured Poultry Producers Association and the Arkansas Grassroots Grazing Group.
