Organically grown vegetables and CSA shares from a family market garden on a historic New Hampshire homestead.
Orange Door Farm is a family-run market garden operated by Amanda and Tyler Dumont on the historic 1850 Ida A. and Fred Weston Farm in Wilton, New Hampshire. The farm grows a wide range of vegetables, from tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant to root vegetables, brassicas, and fresh herbs. Customers can join a 20-week seasonal CSA, pre-order weekly veggie boxes for a one-time share experience, or browse the on-farm stand during pickup hours. The farm operates seasonally, open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, June through October. Amanda started farming in 2008, and the family launched Orange Door Farm in 2022. Learn more on their About Page.
Orange Door Farm grows everything organically, using no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides. The farm feeds its soil with natural inputs tailored to each crop, including mineral amendments, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, chicken manure, and fish and seaweed fertilizer. All seedlings are started in-house using organic compost and potting mix sourced from Vermont Compost. To manage weeds and insect pressure, the farm uses tapping, landscape fabric, and floating row cover in place of chemical controls.
